ADD YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE RUSSET CIDER TRAIL

We are gathering local support to help demonstrate the need for a safe, accessible walking and cycling route connecting Bishops Lydeard, Cotford St Luke, Norton Fitzwarren and Taunton. Please add your name if you support the principle of the trail.

GET INVOLVED

Cycle Pathways provide an enormous number of ways in which people can become involved:

At our present stage we need a range of skills that might cover fundraising, the purchase of land, legal processes, managing our new website and social media. We also need help with promotional events and engaging with the local community.

In the future there will be opportunities to develop environment friendly initiatives and more practical tasks such as hedge and fence management.

Please get in touch to see how you can support this exciting project.

USE OF FUNDS

Funds raised at this stage will be used to move the Russet Cider Trail from an early community vision towards a properly evidenced, professionally planned and deliverable project. This includes the practical running costs of the charity, public communications, surveys and consultation, route planning, professional technical input, and the legal advice needed to engage responsibly with landowners, local authorities, funders and other key stakeholders.

DONATE

Your donation will help us take the Russet Cider Trail from a strong local idea to a properly planned, professionally supported and deliverable project. At this early stage, funds will support the essential work needed to move the trail forward, including community engagement, route planning, surveys, communications, professional advice and the legal and technical groundwork required to build confidence with landowners, funders and local partners. Every contribution helps us make the case for a safer, greener and more accessible route for the whole community.
